II 1 70 bis - Original reference texts

Rubrics: c. I:
"Deliberationes a c. 2
Fideiussiones a c. 49
Capture a c. 73"
Titles: c. 2 - "Deliberationes"
c. 49 - "Fideiussiones"
c. 73 - "Capture"
Annotations: The section of captures is divided by names of the messengers who carried out the arrests. These series are often interrupted because of lack of space caused by the original layout, in such a way that the longer sequences continue on blank pages in subsequent sections, as indicated in the annotations provided as follows:
c. 73 - "Capture: Nannes Iacobi alias Palmella" The group comprises a single chronological sequence from c. 73 (1416/7 January 8) to c. 74 (1417 May 28). The nickname of the messenger, "Palmella", is repeated at the top of c. 74.
c. 75 - "Capture: Dominicus Segne dictus Fermalpuntus" The group comprises only two acts, a (1416/7 January 7) and b (1416/7 March 19).
c. 76 - "Capture: Lasagna" The group comprises a single chronological sequence from c. 76 (1416/7 January 11) to c. 80v (1416/7 February 27).
c. 81 - "Capture: Antonius Berti" The group comprises a single chronological sequence from act c. 81 (1416/7 January 15) to c. 81v (1416/7 March 1). The nickname of another messenger, "Lasagna", is noted in the margin for act 81vl.
c. 82 - "Capture: Silvestre Iacobi" The group comprises just four acts from a (ante 1416/7 February 26) to d (1417 April 6).
c. 82 - The series entitled "Antonius Berti" continues from c. 82, act e (1416/7 March 1) to c. 83v (1417 April 22).
c. 84 - The title "ser Antonio" at the top of the page opens a chronological series that goes from c. 84 (1416/7 March 1) to c. 87 (1417 June 18). At the top of c. 85v and again on c. 87 the title "ser Antonio" is repeated. At c. 86 the act f (1417 March 31) is marked in the margin "Antonio di Berto".
c. 89 - The name of the messenger "Antonio di Berto" at the top of the page (repeated at the top of c. 89v) indicates the continuation of his series from c. 89 (1417 April 22) to c. 90 (1417 May 5).
c. 93 - Contains two arrests: act a labeled "Manetto Ciaccheri" (1417 June 2) and act b "Orlanduccio" (1417 June 12).
c. 94 - At the top of the page the name of the messenger "Salvestro" regards a group of three arrests from act a (1417 June 3) to act c (1417 June 9).
c. 96v - A brief series of memoirs seems to regard payments received from the Opera's debtors: first four undate entries, then a group dated 1417 July 2-6.
